GATEWAY TO THE 2001 NATIONAL FUN TOURNAMENT PICTURES
This year's pictures are similar to last year's, except that new and (supposedly) better camera equipment was used this year. The individual player pictures are a significant improvement. However, for some unexplained reason, most of the team pictures were somewhat out of focus, even though a brand new high pixel auto-focus digital camcorder was used. It appears that the camcorder improperly auto-focused frequently at approximately a 10-20 foot distance from the subject. Fortunately, when individual player pictures were taken with that same camcorder's zoom lens, the focal length was reduced to just several feet and the pictures were (for the most part) in focus. Also, all pictures are larger in size than last year's. In order to insure that future tournament-team pictures are of better quality, a brand new mega-pixel digital still camera was just purchased, and test results from that camera have produced outstanding results.
